Welcome to the Real Estate Test Blog. Orginally, I created this blog just to play around and learn some things to help improve my rankings for my real estate website. Since that time, I've learned some - I've a long way left to go. That's for sure. But, along the way, I've created a handful of real estate blog themes for WordPress and tested some ideas about how to use Google maps, create powerful single property websites and lots of completely above board methods of improving the rankings of my website. Most of what I have learned can be summed up with the very simple idea of building real relationships online the same way we do offline. This website will very shortly become a nice resource for real estate bloggers to learn some basic to intermediate SEO as well hopefully pick up a nice blog theme - they're free! So it turns out that WordPress can be used for so much more than a blog. Many people already know this, but, I’m still learning. I have turned what was nothing more than a blog about the city I live, Alpharetta, into a full on Alpharetta real estate website. The best part about this is that they don’t cost any more than the hosting cost and you can create a really high quality website and blog that ranks extremely well. The first thing I did was to create a static front page and name a new page “blog”. Then I created a seperate side navigation system to be used witht the pages and off it went. Now, it’s a fully functioning website with all of the features of a WP blog built right in
